Biofuel: not biodiesel, not ethanol. More versatile.

biofuelI heard of this company on EcoTalk radio: USSEC – Homepage. They create a biofuel, that is not biodiesel, that uses more of the plant material and also delivers two other important products: carbon ash and biogas. Carbon ash is an additive to concrete; US Sustainable Energy Corporation uses the biogas in their production. Their biofuel can be used in diesel engines without any engine modification and can even be used in regular gasoline engines as a 50/50 blend with gasoline.

But in what I think is a smart move, USSEC is not trying to enter the automotive fuel market. They are concentrating on power generation. This reduces distribution headaches, and eliminates all the complications in getting multiple car manufacturers to get the fuel approved. Both of these are costly and time consuming. Proving the fuel works in a controlled power generation environment is a smart first step which also reduces the burning of petroleum and coal products.

Most power generation facilities work the same way: A fuel heats water that becomes steam and drives a turbine that creates electricity. If this technology holds up and if these claims are valid, there are a lot of corn ethanol and biodiesel plants that may have to be retrofitted or not even built at all since the energy output is much higher than with either of these current alternative energy darlings.

  • I’ve visited USSEC twice now, and both times it looked more like an entrance parade for the academy awards than a biofuel group announcing its discovery. There is a buzz and excitement there that just can’t be conveyed without visiting. I think it starts with all the jaws that drop from the power companies that visit when they bring their own validation teams. I’m not a scientist, but the clear impression I got was that this company has hit on a revolutionary process due to the enzyme process they use that will translate into the company producing one of the first truly green energy alternatives every created. Probably why their headquarters looks more like an inbound motorcade arena.

  • A true win-win situation for the company, investors and the environment.

At last a bright ray of hope and promise to free the US from dependence on foreign sources and the political baggage those sources bring home.

  • If only it were true! It seems that a well planned hoax is being played on the people who desperately need a solution to our energy dependence. A simple pyrolysis reactor combined with a slick sales pitch produces a crude oily fuel that can be refined into a suitable fuel for internal combustion engines, just not in an economically viable way!
This process is not new. Unfortunately, using schemes like this to transfer wealth from the gullible to the hoaxters is not new either.
The long term chance of profit for the process is zero. The founder of the company, however, will make lots of money at the expense of the investors. Shame on them.

  • It has been brought to my attention that someone is impersonating me! I fully support U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. After months of my research I have found the companies process to be the cure for replacing fossil fuels. All the companies claims have been verified by professionals in the field. I will be heading down to USSEC on April 24th to be part of Biofuel Independence day! Any questions my number is 860-301-6813.

I can only imagine that the false post was posted by the nuclear/oil field. They have been bashing USSEC for months. They know USSEC’s fuel will bring energy freedom for America!
