Antaris Solar, an international provider of solar photovoltaic panels, recently announced that its charitable foundation is going to sponsor the Germany-based foundation The Goede Foundation (named after its founder, Dr.Michael Goede). The organization’s mission is to promote science and education through international projects.

Founded in 1998, the organization installed ten off-grid PV systems with its own photovoltaic modules under its “Solar Energy for Education” initiative near Halong Bay, an underprivileged part of Vietnam, where approximately 13% of the population was living without access to a power grid.

The company also provided TV sets and teaching DVDs to promote learning opportunities. 90 additional PV systems will be installed in other regions of the country.

Antaris Solar supplies products such as photovoltaic panels, inverters, racking systems, and balance of system components to installers and electrical supply outlets.
