The bubbly British green website Green Bang published some time ago a piece of news that caught my attention. It mentioned a report published by Lux Research that said that the annual solar industry will grow to $70.9 billion in 2012, up from $21.2 billion in 2007, but 2009 will mark the decline in the boom time driven by early adopting countries such as Germany, Japan and Spain. This is because so far demanded has outpaced supply and soon we will be seeing a reverse trend. The report is available to buy from here.
Still on the solar power topic, researchers at the University of Washington studying solar cell configurations discovered that by implementing a popcorn ball design (tiny spheres clumped into bigger porous spheres) efficiency in cheap solar cells was near doubled. Guozhong Cao, a UW professor of materials science and engineering said, “We think this can lead to a significant breakthrough in dye-sensitized solar cells.”
WHERE IS SOLAR POWER HEADED IN THE RV INDUSRTY ? IN LIVE IN ELKHART IN RV CAPITAL AND WE SHIP 10,000 RV A MONTH WITH NO SOLOR POWER . IT HAS BEEN TREID YEARS AGO WITH POOR SUCESS .
